This is why I love Sony's acquisitions over MS's. They buy smaller, quality studios and deliver top-notch exclusives whereas MS mainly focuses on mass marketable trash with few good SP games here and there. Who will be more profitable? Definitely MS. But whose games I'm interested in more? Definitely Sony. As I've said before, Sony is all set for its console strategy this generation. All they need for long-term growth is a good response to Game Pass.
Though this purchase seems to be more MP-oriented, if anyone can do a better job at reviving Sony's FPS IPs like Resistance and Killzone, it is Bungie. In any case, Destiny itself is arguably the best FPS (at least mechanics-wise) out there.
