Well iam definitely aiming to grab ps4 pro from dubai. There is a really good preorder deal at souq where you get the ps4 pro along with a free game for 1550AED thats around 43k. Rather wait and save 10k to be spent on games like Watch dogs2 and dishonored 2. My KS8500 is ready.

As for psvr the interest has really dwindled down to wait till january. Definitely RE7 PS VR bundle should be released and that will signal the purchase for me.

what boost can you see --dont know about no boosts ---but the damn thing is expensive 62k being sold here on shophive and the ps4 pro is for 52-54k will wait for a month or so before i get it and sale the original ps4 region 1.

damn thing looses money fast ---

i want to know what happens to the ppl who wear glasses like how is the vr experiance for them - can you wear that device with the glasses on or you have to wear it with out the glasses .

i have a 65inch 4k led so i dont mind but whats the verdict .

and last question ----do you really feel the diff in fps on ps4 and ps4 pro if so what games .

So anyone has tried it yet ? There are mixed reviews of it I've read so far . Some saying it has better FOV than both Vive & Oculus
inshortitsBAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAD

i used htc vive and psvr , for now i wll just say it has games that look fun and can be played for fun for 10min only after which feel like arcade games and its boring as shit after that... and psvr has bad AA and so much Jiggy all over while HTC vive provides amazing quality and amazing expensive price lol

mostly some 4ktvs not working properly with pro and some other software and ofcourse you've heard about some games not that much optimized with it....
You meant handshaking issue with few hmdi ports that get fixed with a new hdmi cable. I belive ps4 pro is more reliable than ps4 launch models. Some games means 2 or 3 max that will be fixed iam sure in the coming days.

[h=1]PlayStation VR sales figures revealed in exec’s interview[/h]

[h=2]Almost a million in four months; Andrew House is ‘very happy’[/h]

PlayStation VR has sold 915,000 units to consumers since it launched in October, reports The New York Times, coming close to an internal goal Sony set of pushing 1 million units within the hardware's first six months of availability.
The Times led its story about virtual reality's consumer appeal with that figure, getting it from Andrew House, the chief executive of Sony Interactive Entertainment worldwide. Moreover, House indicated that even if no more than 10 percent of PlayStation 4's installation base buy PlayStation VR, he would be "very happy."
The statements are intriguing because practically no one in the video games industry talks raw sales figures, much less their expectations for them, unless it’s really good news. Sony has been glad to talk about the sales performance of the PlayStation 4, but in its last two statements about the console, Sony didn’t specify how well either PlayStation 4 had done or how the new PlayStation 4 Pro had, either.
The Times noted that neither Oculus VR nor HTC, makers of competing VR products, have stated for the record what they've sold. Analysts have given rough estimates, and they're smaller than PlayStation VR's total, though the timespan is not equivalent (as of the end of last year, not February).

There's more detail in the Times piece about the picture of virtual reality in present day, and the advantages PlayStation VR has over its competitors because of the existing installation base and the fact it's an add-on to the PS4, as opposed to something that needs a reasonably powerful (and more expensive) PC to run.

[h=1]Sony’s dropping the price of PlayStation VR[/h]

[h=2]Everyone gets a PlayStation Camera[/h]

The cost of PlayStation VR is officially dropping on Sept. 1, Sony announced today. A new bundle featuring the PlayStation VR headset and PlayStation Camera will be released next month for $399 in the U.S. and CA$499 in Canada.
Sony’s other existing bundle, which includes the virtual reality headset, camera, a pair of PlayStation Move controllers and a copy of PlayStation VR Worlds, will also see a price reduction from $499 to $449 in the U.S. That bundle will cost CA$579 in Canada.
Sony launched PlayStation VR last year with a $399 price point. That base package only included the headset, not the required PlayStation Camera, so the new bundle means an effective price drop of roughly $50 to $60. While the PlayStation Camera has a $59.99 suggested retail price, some retailers sell it for less.
For more on PlayStation VR, read Polygon’s review of the PlayStation 4’s virtual reality headset.
