Sony PlayStation 5 : Play Has No Limits

PS5 Release Date, PS5 Games, PS5 Power vs Xbox One X, PS5 Price Speculation - All the PS5 Info lets discuss

Here are all the rumors and speculation surrounding the PS5, including a potential PS5 release date, power, and launch games of Sony's inevitable PS5. Is the PS5 releasing in 2019?

What we Want From the PS5 Speculation aside, what would we ideally want from the PS5? Backwards compatibility for PS4 games would be brilliant, simply because you'd be able to carry over classics like the Shadow of the Colossus remake to the next console generation. We've seen how well Microsoft is handling backwards compatibility with its Xbox One consoles (including getting amazing results updating Xbox 360 games to run in 4K on Xbox One X), and something similar on PS5 would be great.

In terms of pure power, the PlayStation 5 has to significantly exceed the power of the Xbox One X. This means featuring more games running in 4K at 60FPS. If the PS5 can deliver about 10 TF of power we'd be happy, as this would allow devs to create games that look a generation ahead of what we've got now.

But what would the dream launch lineup be for the PS5? Death Stranding and The Last of Us: Part 2 are hugely anticipated blockbuster games, with the former especially looking to push the performance of whatever system it's on to the very limit. We've also mentioned Ghost of Tsushima and a sequel to Horizon Zero Dawn, and the latter would be the perfect way to kick off a new console cycle from Sony.

I've been saying this for a while how a tiered approach will be better than the trash scam known as PS+. As always, Sony is late to the party 🤣

Good for those who want it. Unless it's forcefully tied to online play, I'll never subscribe to a service that provides limited time access to games, so that includes both PS Now and Game Pass. Yes, first-party Xbox games don't leave Game Pass, but that' ain't good enough for me. PS Plus and Nintendo Online work for meee 🤣

They don't specify if the catalog of 400 PS4 and PS5 games will be added to one's PSN account library to play later once the catalog is refreshed. Probably not, in which case, I'll stick to PS Plus Essential.
i guess they will be in your library section like in the tabs we see plus games so tier games or something.

PS doesnt have gameboost so ps1, 2 and 3 games streaming and even downloading them at their native settings is pretty much EHHH!!!

They obviously didn't include Day 1 1st parties 'cause honestly, unlike MS's shitty games, PS & Nintendo games do well on their own, so yeah, makes sense!

All in all, I think, the 2nd Tier is best value for money for those who missed the PS4 games! This is IDEAL for them!

For people like me, I will stick to the regular/essential tier.

"The way the world is changing so very quickly at the moment, nothing is forever," he tells us. "Who would have said even four years ago that you would see AAA PlayStation IP being published on PC? We started that last year with Horizon Zero Dawn, then Days Gone, and now God of War -- a hugely polished and accomplished PC version of that game. [We've had] great critical success and great commercial success, and everybody has made their peace with that happening and is completely at ease with it. I look back four years and think nobody would have seen that coming.
Don't be so sure about that Jimbo :ROFLMAO:

"lil' nobody" was offered a PS5 at msrp at launch and likely will be offered a PSVR2 as well. They can't deny the worth of those who spend big on their platform

None of the PS 1st party games released on PC thus far matter to me, and the forthcoming release that does matter to me has been stripped of its most essential mode 🤣
