Slow torrent speed - WiTribe

I'm getting slow torrent speeds on 2 MBPS unlimited Wi-Tribe internet speedtest.net shows 2.5 MBPS but torrent speed is 5-14 kpbs.. Don't mention the PTCL falt thing because its been like 2 months. Same prob

Check if your ports are Open. If its much trouble, then just turn the DMZ ON from your Modem Settings Page.

Then it also depends on the 'tracker' you are using. If public, then there should be a balance between Seeders (who are uploading the torrent data to you) & Leechers (Users currently downloading that torrent - making You a leecher too).

when I had wi tribe they used to throttle torrents from 5pm to next morning of 6am i think.. so maybe that is the case for you as well

Do this

In utorrent: Go to Options-->Preferences-->Bittorrent
Under protocol encryption check "Allow Incoming legacy connections".
Set outgoing to "Forced".

yes bro my speed also turns 200kb from 60kb in 2mbps i dont know what happen in gateway,i.e; i think PTCL limited the value of downloading

I have a 4 mb connection and I'm not getting any downloading speeds. What exactly has happened. My utorrent is configured properly

I have one MB Witribe and I get 100kbps on torrents with spotflux ON.
But whe it is off, I usually get 50-60 kbps
What gives?
