Reading about this did bring some pretty obscured stuff of which atleast I wasn't previously aware of. Go search for dark web or deep web and you'll find a lot of other amazing things

No,they haven't shut it down because you access these sites anonymously even if they do shut it down another will just pop up,they can't find out who's behind these sites, thats why there's a ton of FBI here and there on the deep web.

I think they can easily shut it down. Nothing can be bigger than the FBI, maybe they're involved with them too?

They are,but that's not the point, even if the FBI DOES shut them down, they can easily make another site within seconds. The Deep Web is HUGE you'd be surprised at the rate at which new sites pop up.

At least they can try.

By your theory, the police should stop working too because the criminals wont stop. They will finish their sentences, come out and work under new names.

I'm trying to say that the ones who are doing this cannot be found as TOR keeps you anonymous and they can't track you down.

Just read things on the not-so-deep web.. These things have so dynamic addresses its actually pretty hard to access them unless you know where to look. And why would FBI mind me looking at some weed? Not like I actually have the deep web currency to make the purchase....:crying:

Deep web is the internet that is hidden from us normal users. Because of its clandestine and encrypted nature it can't be accessed from conventional browsers like Chrome or Firefox. You need software engineered specifically for it like the Tor browser. However deep web is not the ideal place to browse, it is littered with network worms and Trojans and stuff that doesn't conform to moral and ethical values - you see child pornography, extreme violence, murders, hitmen-for-hire and a shit load of drugs. You wouldn't want to get lost in it.

In other words there's shit on the Deep Web that makes 4chan's /b/ or any of the shock sites on the normal Web look like Cartoon Network.

/b/ is just kiddie play compared to Deep Web.

It's not a pleasant place to be.

It shows you the real face of the internet without any moderation or regulated morality/ethics.

NOT something you want in your life.

You will hate yourself for being curious about it.

Granted Deep Web has more information that the regular internet.

But its not safe. Ethically and technically.

There are no laws, protection or prevention against the viruses and trojans you can get from there.

Besides, the good stuff is hidden behind payment barriers.

You need a lot of bitcoin to navigate deep web.
