Alright thank you very much for that response, i'm going to stick with the i3 4160 for sure. I've been reading some reviews and a lot of people prefer the 750ti over the 370 claiming that the 750ti gives a much better framerate on games. What would be your opinion? Should i stick with the r7? As long as i can get 30 fps on medium settings i'll be okay with either of these cards. (Also i have purchased 8gb ram, thank you for the suggestion)
What is your MAximum budget you can spend in GPU?

I can either go with the 750ti or the r7 370, those two are the only ones that meet my budget currently. I can spend 20k on a gpu, considering the 370 is 18.5k. So would you suggest the 750ti or the 370?

Thank you everyone for your amazingly detailed response. Here's what i'll be going with (will upgrade it in the future)

Intel i3 4160
Radeon r7 370 OC
Asus H81M-K
Seagate 1tb
Kingston 8gb
Corsair VS 450W

Have yet to decide on a good chassis. Please let me know if you have any other suggestions to improve this build. @alizubair nafu Shary Bhallu TC

370 is rebrand of 7850 and 270 with slightly higher clocks. it is good to GO. For the comparison it performs better than gtx 750Ti.

950 is slightly better than 370. But here 1.5K difference for loosing 2-5 fps doesn't count.

I've decided to save up for now and go for the upgraded GPU and CPU in a year or so. What is your opinion on this current build btw?

I'd prefer not to get used components, since they could give out at any point. Which of the above components should be upgraded for a used one according to you?
"Processor" as it will allow you to get a better gpu.

PS: what is your budget again ? and on what resolution you would play games on ?

I'm aiming for 50k. 720p or 900p at high. 1080p on med (not the newer games on 1080p high anyway)
I've never had luck with used PC components lasting. What would your suggestion be?
processors hardly die so i would say get it used as for your budget i think i can suggest what you should get, but first let me know which "used" part failed on you ? :p

What ? Processors don't die unless someone did something to it or maybe you were using 1st gen i3 without seating heatsink properly. [emoji14] or Maybe it was bad luck that you got a repaired pro.

My friend was on a budget, got him i5 2500, 8gb ram and Intel 2nd gen mobo all used and it's still going strong after 2 years. He later got 280x that too used and can easily play almost all games on ultra at 1080p. Anyways new processors don't die that easily.

Just don't get a used PSU as your whole system depends on it.

No problem i won't be buying the whole system for a week or so, i can wait. Get back to me when you can and i'll make the adjustments in what i'll have to buy. Yeah i'm going to buy a new Corsair VX 450W.

Nah the temperatures were fine, i guess there was something wrong with the processor. Still it has made me wary of any used products, i'm open to change though. :p
