Congratulations bro ! I was looking forward to buy sennheiser headphones too.Was thinking to buy HD429 but I usually listen to music on my iPhone :/ Not that much into listening music on Computer . What would you suggest for a $150 budget with detachable cable . Preferably Sony,Sennheiser ,AudioTechnica or Shure .

Bro for 150$ budget you have a lot of good options like Sennheiser Hd 598, Audio-Technica ATH-M50x (two of best options i think in this budget). Sony MDRXB950BT/B extra bass Bluetooth headphones, V-Moda Crossfade LP2, Beyerdynamic DT-990 also a very good option, Philips SH9500, but your your choice will mainly depend whether you want a Closed or Open or Semi Open headphones, Over-Ear or On Ear etc, (the models i mentioned above are all over-ear headphones), and Plz avoid Beats brands at all cost. As they provide fake & over emphized base and poor sound quality as compared to Audio-Technica or Sennheiser & Beyerdynamic.

And i am assuming 150$ without adding/considering shipping charges to Pak, which are 3-4k atleast, if you want to consider it then you can have either Audio-Technica ATH-M40x or Sennheiser Hd 558 headphones, both with detachable cable option and Good overall qualities.

I've had the golden HD 598s for 4+ years now I think and they're amazing. I bought them along with the FIIO e-10 and they're a good combination. I didn't think the packaging was flimsy at all but then again maybe mine was different. Anyway as I said I've been using them everyday for hours for years now and have not had a single problem. You won't regret buying them imo they're the best purchase I've made in the last 5 years.
Wow, it's great to hear that bro, Btw are you still using Fiio E10K with it bro?

I have the E-10 not the E-10K. The K version wasn't released yet. I am satisfied with the E-10 but looking at the reviews for the K version it seems even better.

Great bro ! I'm going to check all these headphones out . I am not a fan of beats. My roommate has beat solo 2 and they gave me severe pain around the ear area due to the pressure . And yes,I'm was actually looking for over-ear because they provide comfort and noise-cancelling (which is optional for me) .Btw about those sony headphones,I actually came across them before as well but do you think being wireless effects the sound quality ? And the reason why I have a $150 budget is because I'd rather spend more on something that last 2 years for me . Hence the detachable cable option is important .Thanks mate ! I will look into all these but I fear I no longer have the time to order it as I'm going to Pakistan on Wednesday .

Hahaha The charges won't be an issue,I live in China .

Nice purchase. Congrats. Reminded me of my Sennheiser Momentum though they really have very good presentation to them.

Wow congrats bro, love it. Had the 558's for a while and they were amazing! The 598's more so. Great purchase. I used a fiio amp+dac combo with the 558 and they really boosted the power of the headphones, sound quality not so much. Guess you can try some amp+dac combo with your headphones as well.

I previously had the Senn momentum's and those were superb as well.

For the 558 i did a dedicated burn in time and for me it did make a noticeable difference. I don't know if this is case for every headphone.

Anyways, great purchase and happy listening! You have made me want a quality senn can again ;)

The 558's are a really good choice in the $100 range if you want to save some cash, detachable cables, awesome sound quality and build quality. But if you can go up to $150 then the 598 and Audio Technica M50x are the ones to go for. If you want open back then 598, for closed the M50x's are great.

SoundMagic HP100/HP150 for closed back... SoundMagic HP200 for semi-open. Better than all these up here. Better than ATHM50 even. Get it, if anyone is considering anything in $150 range. Detachable cable. Awesome sound.
