What does that translate to in terms of quality? A crazy good time. Or at least, what would have been a crazy good time if not for the game's poor coding on PC. For whatever reason the PC version absolutely chugs. Even on my Intel Core2Quad 2.4 GHz with 2GB RAM, an Nvidia GeForce 8800 GTX, and a Vista 32 operating system, the game ran between twenty and seven frames per second and had a host of other performance issues. In other words, it was nauseating and almost unplayable. The core gameplay is the same, but the general performance basically kills the experience.

Seems Like PC Gaming is at a standstill. Most company's just make the proper releases on Consoles and the devs are too lazy to port it properly to the PC cause they know that consoles bring more money.

GTA 4 is far superior than this but this is the only game which matches the standard of gta

it might now be good in grafix as gta 4 and in physics but in fun factor it kicks @$$ knamean!

Dont install it or buy this shity game guys..i downloaded the 4GB repack version and this game is *More worst than GTA4*.Gameplay is nothing.And you would get to much shuttering on even good rigs..Dont expect to run this on your 8600gts like mine.

nopes the has severe problem even on the company's own community all the ppl have problems. ppl with core i7's and 4850 x2 are having severe lag and stuff but they are working on a patch i hope!

but ign's review isnt biased at least not this time around

gta 4 looks and runs better then SR2 on my pc
and my pc sux!

i played it just after a single play session exited out of it will post a few screen shoots soon and surprisingly the game run smooth on my rig no lags but the divorcements of the game looks like the r from saint andres era very bald and horrible looking game. low res textures r every where it doesnt look next gen from any angle expect the character customization. on which i spent more time then actully playing it
