The device features cellular connectivity and phone functionality, along with a Mozilla-based browser with full Adobe Flash 9.4 support. Specs wise, the N900 sports the ARM Cortex-A8 CPU, 3.5-inch WVGA touchscreen, 5MP camera, OpenGL ES 2.0, Wi-Fi and HSPA.

You guys have nooooo idea what a mess nokia has caused in releasing this device in the US ... the device is soooo good, it has attracted so many customers in the US that Nokia can't seem to keep up with the supply ..

the device was first scheduled for release in september, then moved to october, then november, then late november, then early december ... people here in the US are paying upto $300 extra, just to get it now, since there's simply no store here in the US which has it 'in stock' right now, even though technically its been released ... my order for the device from over two months ago is being serviced now by amazon ... and people ordering now in the US are getting ETAs as far as mid february 2010 .. !!

Nokia has royally screwed the launch of this device here in the US .. people are literally thinking of sueing Nokia here, just because of the mental tension this device has given all of us here ... i alone must have been on the phone with amazon like over a dozen times, trying to get an ETA on my order's shipment ...

anyways, if all goes well, I should have it soon inshAllah :)

it will be great if u get that phone, it looks a new gen from nokia and i think its os is different then symbian, i think we had enough of symbian!

and do post some unboxing pics of this phone also?

and btw how about HTC HD2 it has the largest screen 4.3inch!

Well I don't have it with me as of right now, but the parcel is currently in transit. If all goes well, I should have by 9th December inshAllah .. Also, as good as the phone may seem, it does have tons and tons of bugs in it ... Many people have reported problems like, the mic not working, dead phones, phones whose screens went dead but the phone itself was still receiving calls, etc .., program errors, faulty wifi, etc ...

I just hope that my phone will be OK (inshAllah) .. :wink2:

looks ok nothing extraordinary to me.. nokia could have done a better job considering they were the first releasing meamo 5.. but still a decent phone none the less.. what i specially love about it is the powervr sgx chipset.. its god the same hardware capabilities as the iphone 3gs, but a higher resolution means lower fps but still i think it should have awesome apps and games in a lil while..

    So i just found out that f***ing s***bag Microsoft shut down Arkane Studio (makers of the brilliant Dishonored series) and Tango Gameworks (makers of the iconic The Evil Within series), among some other studios.     Started Dead Island 2, and i find it pretty lame. The story is shit. The characters are either cringe or bland (all 6 of them), The gameplay isn't fun. Even the goddamn zombies don't behave like proper zombies. They're all fast & intelligent unlike how zombies are supposed to be like. Any fan of "zombie" genre cannot possibly like this shitfest of a game. Dying Light 2 was million times better than this shit.

    tbh gaming industry as a whole is failing much like tech industry. They have buckled down too much to Corporate suites then relying on passionate and innovative people. A corporate only believes in financial growth and shareholders.
