one person says 6790 requires 2x6pin connectors
my psu has one 6 pin connector but 2 connectors also come with new gpu so if i conect one connector of psu and other that comes with gpu will work?

Need Complete Guide for Building a 3D Compatible Machine

Hi All ,

Its almost after 4 years i am going to build a desktop(using a notebook for these years) and this 3d tech has motivated me to do so.

Kindly advise on what specs to aim for , i have already narrowed down the lcd/led monitor i.e samsung 2233 rz 22 inch. Kindly advise how to get hold of nvidia vision kit , which processor to get (powerfull enough so that no rendering issues while 3d gaming , movies etc) , which motherboard to get , ram , casing , sound system etc.

I think nvidia gtx 680 release is arond the corner should i wait for that or it would be overpriced for its value initially.All in All complete guide requested to build a machine and please sharee any experiences if their are. Thanks

Before mentioning anything, you do realize that you need a really heavy budget for all that. So, how much are you willing to spend?

in max 40k its hard to get a core i3 laptop having 15" screen
there is one available on galaxy but it has 13" screen+no optical drive
you need atleast 45 to 46k to get a core i3 with 15" screen

You quoted yourself, next time quote me. Take a look at these threads and contact these members. You can ask the guy how he ordered the 3D vision kit and this 3D monitor is pretty much the best that you can find in Pakistan:

Yea, all of it is available from a shop in Islamabad known as Iamextreme and in pindi, another shop called Galaxy computers.

asrock mobo,g skill rams and xigmatek psu is available at iamxtreme islamabad where as rest of stuff is available at galaxy in rawalpindi 6th road.but mother board+ram+psu of best quality (asus corsair)are also available at galaxy so it will be better to buy all stuff from one shop
