okay guys my cousins requires a laptop for personal use so that he can do his university projects and do some mid-end gaming on it.
He has a budget of 120k max but the cheaper the better.
his requirements are
1: 1tb hdd
2: Should play most of the upcoming games at atleast medium settings
3: HP and dell will be preferred as i think they are more easy to be repaired and will be more likely be available in Iran other brands are welcome too though

tell me atleast 2-3 models so that he may choose .

Now I am kinda confused on what to get, I was thinking to get Gigabyte GTX 750TI or [ maybe a R9 270x] for now and wait till more of the 900 series become available or get a used old high end card like GTX680 in particular which might last me a while.

Also I have a habit of running games at 1080p maxed out... :tv:

R9 270x is clearly the better option in terms of performance ... the downside from my point of view is the power comsumption of amd cards especially the r9 2xx series.. if you are okay with having constant 250-450w sucked out at max load during gaming then it is a clear winner.. Using a vapor x r9 270x myself... never gets hotter than 63 degrees at even 50 fan speed..
if you are going to play 1080p max out.. I think r9 280x is the better option or gtx 770 (which is quite expensive but gives great power consumption results) ..you cant expect r9 270x to give max out performance on 1080p.. you have to notch it down a little! :S

AOA guys,
came here to seek some advice on building a PC meant for engineering sim softwares like AnSys, CAD softwares, Solidworks etc.
budget is not fixed but i'd like to get the best price : performance build possible,
also i was googling and saw some people quering about which is better for Ansys, CFD; Intel Xeon Or i7???
so if u guys can clear it to me as well that would be great,

as for the PC build, i can go for used components as ling as they are a good bargain so suggest me if u can think of any components i might be able to get in used condition (warranty preferred) at a good price.

AoA brothers,

I am in need of a laptop, I havea budget of 65k.
In this budget the best option to me is HP Envy Touchsmart M6 .... it has a 1080p screen and backlit keyboard, which to me matters a lot.
I wanted to ask is that, is there any better option then this laptop? and it is refurbished, would this bother me later on?
