Im Facing Constant Instability On My Connection.........The Net Is Connected But When I Try To Browse The Net Becomes Very Unstable I Cant Even Browse Not To Mention On Audio Calls The Sound Doesnt Even Reach The Specific Place.........Only When I Restart It Works Perfectly For 3-4 Mins And Again Boom! :mad: :mad:.........As Far As Torrents Are Concerned The Speed Is 2-3kbps......The Internet Is Very Unstable......Any One Facing The Same Problem As Mine??

When I pickup telephone, my modem/router gets disconnected. Y? If anyone knows about this problem then plz tell me, thanks!

Ok awesome! Today I went to visit anandtech forums & look what message I got. "Sorry. The administrator has banned your IP address. To contact the administrator click here" Seriously WTF! everyone is banning PTCL's 182.17x.x.x IP series.

im facing a new problem with dsl , for the last few days my PPPoE connection isnt stable, it disconnects and never connects again, then i call from my dsl number to 1216 just for 2 3 seconds and when i try to connect again it connects but again it disconnects and have to do this again..but on BRIDGE mode it works fine..it gets disconnects but after few hrs, so whats going on now is there any ptcl backend problem?
i also replaced my modem i thought it was my modem but its the dsl..
any idea how to fix this?

Had the same problem for a couple of days now. Called up exchange, they said there is an on-going problem. At the moment they are shifting ports from DSLAM or something.

Same here, My DSL in ISB has been blocked on a lot of sites. But they are working fine in Sindh @ my home....

Im Not Having Disconnections But Facing constant Instability Cant Even Open Google........Restarting The Modemn Gives 5 Mins Of Stability Then Again

You can't demand from them to get upgraded. You are getting what your paying for. These are trials, some get upgraded for a few days/hours then back to there original speed.
