Hey guys, hope you're all doing well.
Recently I started facing an issue on my iPhone where certain pages would redirect to different (spam) pages until finally stopping on the facebook login page. I thought it was just my phone until I checked my sisters iPhone which also had the same issue. I checked on my iPad and it also had the same issue along with my parents phones. I can browse the perfectly on my laptop, its just certain websites on the phones. I tried resetting my router, changing dns, factory resetting my phone but the problem still prevailed. Extensive google-ing showed no results as no one else online is facing the same issue. Among the affected websites are pakwheels.com, hbl.com to name a few.
I am using Zong Mobile Broadband which I've been using for almost a year now and I have never faced this issue before, it started in the last 2 months or so. Any help would be aprreciated guys, its VERY VERY annoying since I can't access websites that I need such as hbl.com. The issue also happens on mobile data by zong.

Ufone did a similar thing a few years back, Zong might be doing the same.

Try a different service provider, see if you come across the same issue.

Zong has been injecting scripts and because of that their IPs got blacklisted (captcha on pretty much every website). This is essentially a MITM (man in the middle attack) and Zong is doing it.

why is zong this doing this? like what possible motive could they have? What are the scripts trying to do?

Is it possible someone on zongs network(some malicous person not zong offical) somehow is causing this

Sadly, zong is the best ISP in my area. PTCL never works.

So is there anything I can do to prevent this, abd if this is an MTM attack then why isn't it affecting my laptop?
PTCL used to force pop up ads on their Evo Wingle, they used to come on the phone, but on the laptop, sometimes adblock would block it, but sometimes it would manage to come through.

Changing DNS did nothing.
