Received call from Lahore for sick kid

Hi All -

Hope everyone is doing great. I live in Ireland and i received a call from +92 308 457 8174 today. Dont know from where he got my number but he mentioned that there is a sick child and he needs funds for his operation/treatment. He mentioned he is from Lahore (or maybe Multan, i cant recall).

Is there anyone in Lahore / Multan who can call up this guy and verify his claims about the sick child? (Maybe pay him a visit?) I'm happy to provide donation if this is genuine. Just want to make sure that this is not a scam. I asked the person to send me some documents on WhatsApp and he did send me some invoices / reports from the hospital as well.

Any help regarding this matter would be greatly appreciated.

I am sure you have genuine concern but this sounds really shady. I dont even know how one will actually go on about doing it. People have gone to great lengths to scam others, but I also dont want to be the one to keep help away from a person genuinely in need.

If you wanna give charity to someone I think there are 3 very well respected organizations which could always use more help
