Rebranded LG G2 D802

Salam,
Has anyone here encountered a rebranded G2 D802? a friend recently got a G2 from Hafeez Center for 27K, he claims it was new which is hard to believe since a new one still goes for 40k. I tried for hours today trying to get Warid's LTE working on it but couldn't, then I threw in my Zong sim, which btw has LTE working on a Note 4, but it still wouldn't switch to LTE.

Anyone else experience something similar, I only ask because I recently came accross a SGH 1337 (S4) which was rebranded as a I9500, thus have my suspicions.

Yes u r right ... If he has got D802 and 4G is not connecting .. First of all .. Its giving LTE option and it just hangs on it ...then I am afraid its a branding error .. It might be a D800 or any other model .. Check if Zong's 3G is working or not ?

I got two d802 which were actually d800 and d801. My brother is using d800 and it doesn't support zong 4g. On the back cover though its written d802. So i think they are refurbished models and market is full of them these days. Problem is u can't identify them as they come with d802 rom (don't know how). One thing i noticed that messaging icon is usually blue on refurbished set. Only way is to open the set and check board for identification.

    why you are paying american rates in Pakistan. Search cheaper region like Turkey. 13k for 13 months. Ms does not care

    Just finished Diablo 4 season in hurry to play Fallout 4 but gamepass released another banger in the form of Star Wars on April 25th. Gamepass is a steal man.
