PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds and Pro Evolution Soccer 2019 are free to all Xbox Live members today through Sunday. That means Xbox One users without a Gold subscription can still download and play the battle royale shooter and soccer simulation.
Both games are free to download right now. Konami’s PES 2019 has been out since Aug. 28.PUBG’s full 1.0 launch for Xbox One came Sept. 4, after about nine months in Xbox Game Preview.
PUBG’s September launch introduced a new ranked system with skill-based matchmaking to group players together. PUBG Corp also announced this week that The Joker and Harley Quinn, as they appeared in 2016’s Suicide Squad, will join the game as player skins soon.
PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds, which debuted on Windows PC, has been an Xbox console exclusive for about a year. It’s normally $29.99 on the Xbox Marketplace. Pro Evolution Soccer is regularly $59.99. Note that these are free only for the weekend; after that, players have to buy the games if they want to keep playing.
