PTCL routing problem

Hi guys, I have 4mbps of PTCL internet connection. I mostly play insurgency online. I usually play on SFW servers they are in Singapore and I get a ping of 150. I am a member o Halfolke clan. So our clan made a new server for ins. It is also in sg. But idk why I get a ping of 250 above on it. I contacted the admin. Admin contacted the streamline servers who provide him with the server. After a lot of testing, he got a reply from them to say this:-

I have investigated this issue and I can see that the problem lies with the routing preferences set by Pakistan Telecommunication company limited.
As you can see hee, the route from our network to Pakistan Telecommunication Company is directly through Equinix Singapore peering. https://puu.sh/BABaf/fcbf6caa87.png
Whereas the traceroute you have provided shows the route going via European peering partners.


You can reach out to your ISP regarding this issue as they will need to be the ones to correct their peering policies. We will also reach out to them to try to push them to resolve these issues for your player base.

Approach PTCL so they can fix your routing issue? You shouldn't even think about contacting PTCL in that matter, they are useless when it comes to online gaming. I used to get 140 ping on EU servers before and now I get 240, tried to tell PTCL the issue like 100 times but they have no idea what ping/routing is. My best advice would be to get a different hosting for the server.

PTCL staff doesn't know crap about routing. They say if speed is fine then you are good to go. Its pathetic that I have more networking knowledge then their staff. Sarak sai ajoobay utha kr employ krletay hain manhoos. Only 1 in a 100 support staff member knows wtf i am talking about.
