PTCL GPON slow uploading!!

I recently got GPON installed at my home. 25 mbps just for testing. The downloading speed is 100% but uploading is just like copper. I have tried uploading to Youtube, Microsoft OneDrive, Mega Drive, Google Drive, both are peak n non peak times. Uploading was ok at Google Drive at non peak time (After sheri) but other websites dont return the same result and i only get 500 kbps uploading speed on Youtube, OneDrive, Mega Drive, Dropbox. So WTF should i do? N what kind of BS is this?


PS : I tried talking to PTCL support but they asked for speed test result which only shows results to their local server n show full 25 mbps uploading speed n hence according to them i dont have any issue!

i have same issue on my gaming pc IE i only get 3mb upload speed crome i get 8mb while my old laptop i get full 25mb upload speed i think its some kind of hardware related issue for me

Maybe conduct a speed test with a other server in another country and see if that helps.

The most I've generally gotten when uploading to Google is around 1MB/s (10Mbps). I have a 25Mbps connection, and I'm not exactly a seeder/uploader, so I'm okay with this upload speed.

Go to England, for example, and you'll get 50Mbps download speeds and 3Mbps upload speeds. On fiber. Take a good guess why.

I am also on 25 mbps GPON. After seeing your comment, I tried uploading a big file on one drive. I was simply blown away by the upload speed, it was freekin over 25 mbps. Try changing your dns to google may that would help.

I never measured the speed neither I ever had 20+mb as download/upload speed but upload was fairly faster than nayatel's 10mbps FTTH.
