And my modem stats:

It all seems good but I was expecting slightly higher speeds.
Isn't 1/4th of Download Link should be Upload Link which should be 2048 Kbps IMO. Why its so low for you and just little above 1 Mbps.
Your Downstream is fine.

How you manage to get such good pings. I never get pings in that range.

Zlip792! After 1Mbps, ALL of PTCL's packages have capped upload speed at 1Mbps, let it be 8Mbps, 16 or higher.

And his ping is less because he chose a "local" server for doing a speed test. Most probably a Islamabad or Lahore server. Also include the fact that he is on Fiber.

Heck i have a copper line and i sometimes get 30-40ms ping on local speed test servers.

I've been paying for 4mb for the past few years. I am quite happy with it, but this offer makes me a little greedy. After all, downloading at 800kbps makes my stomach grumble. However, the 100gb cap makes me want to rethink. An extra 100rs everytime100gb is exceeded. Considering that these days, games are becoming as large as 50gb (*cough* Titanfall, wolfenstein), it seems really small. Hopefully they reconsider and bump it up to 200gb or so, then I'll be interested. I don't want to pay 1500 in January just to get lower speeds.

Please read online for ADSL2+ upload speed limitations.
ADSL2+ can easily achieve upto 3.3Mbps on uploads, using AnexM (as per Wikipedia). Though most modems (older) don't have an option to change that individually.

I have checked PTCL on AnexM but it still caps out at 1Mbps on Upstream.

GOOD INFO. Thanks. Added to the opening post.

"ADSL2+" and "ADSL2+ M" both are not the same standards and a hardware that supports one does not mean it will support the other (both ISP and Customer end). All depends upon what an ISP has

I believe PTCL isn't using ADSL2+ at all. Their "technician" once claimed that from the backend, they are still using G.DMT modulation. I don't know what that means.

That means you are sharing your internet data line with your smart tv line. Call them to change your port to 10mpbs, adding 2mbps for the smart tv service to your existing 8mbps package. You'll see no decrease in downloading speed after that.
