I also take statements literally. But I think he was being sarcastic with the question.

My two cents is that VR has failed across all platforms because as you have stated correctly studios and
devs are not supporting it due to which it is a device for the enthusiasts.

Sony seems to be pushing the device for mass market adoption with its recent video and content marketing campaigns.
But unless Sony supports it with a library containing dozens of QUALITY VR - dedicated or DLC - games and enforce backward compatibility, most gamers won't transition to VR gaming.

Microsoft at the moment seems to have made a smart move by not focusing on the niche VR market. But my prediction could be proven wrong if devs started supporting VR with the backing of major studios.

GT7, RE Village, and the upcoming RE4 Remake VR is a move in the right direction. But we need dozen more games like these in the years ahead for VR to be successful.

At the moment at least, Rift, PSVR2, Vive, and others seems to me a fad similar to 3D HDTVs that will fade away.

Hahah partly. Because I think once you play Alyx, everything else feels underwhelming and like an undercooked tech demo. And a VR headset that can't play it currently, is useless in my books

To anyone who actually owns a PSVR-2 how's the cinematic mode? I might get it if this feature works well because we have one TV in the living room here and I dont have any space for a second screen in my room...and you all know the problems of a single shared screen so I was wondering if it would be a viable option to play Diablo 4 on PSVR 2 while others are watching TV without disturbing anyone else
