Playstation PS4 Help!! Dubai to Karachi!!!

Hello,
In'Sha'Allah we are going for Umrah after the end of this month, after the Umrah is done we'll have few hours stay at Dubai, a friend of mine told me that PS4 is available at dubai duty free for around Rs.45,000.
Can somebody confirm it's price at dubai duty free, and the most important thing, can I bring it here in Karachi?
Will there be any custom duty, if yes how much would it be? Or anything else that restricts it from bringing it here?

Hi, May Allah accept your duas and ibadat.congrats in advance on your umrah,with that said i dont think you ll find a ps4 for that price in duty free.duty, Dubai Duty Free is reallly expensive only thing cheap in that places is Gold perfume and choclates (cigarettes oo if you are a smoker) thats pretty much it.if you want to buy a ps4 for cheap price u ll hve to go out of the airport to the malls and stores like sharaf dg and and plug-ins etc.

and one more thing to keep in mind while bringing electronics in to pk,as long as u know some one in the airport,be prepared to deal with the customs,they wont let a chance get off their hands.

There shouldnt be any Duty/Taxes coz i got mine from Dubai as well... Jumbo Electronics... Its LCDs / LEDs that the custom walas are after not consoles so there should be no duties, And yes getting it from Duty free would be expensive.... If you really want it but feel that the asking price is higher at DXB, there are a number of Premium sellers here at PG selling it at a very reasonable price....

^ Bhai Pakistani customs hai.. They can take duties on anything they want.... No fix rules.... But in electronics they are basically after LCDs more than any other thing... Gaming console should be out easy without any of that duty bullshit....

Let me clear this. I was in dubai 5 days back. Only stand alone piece sold was near diera. At airport i did not see any piece near 1699. Jumbo sellinf second son for 2000 dhs

Shall i present my ticket to make u beleive i was there ? Online price quotes and being there is entirely different ... Practically this is not right for you as u are not aware of the stuff there

My consoles come mostly from dubai and i am avid purchaser from dubai in this regard. I did not see any consoles being sold there for that price neighter seen it there.

Only consoles that are stand alones are being sold in deira for 1600 - 1700 dhs that are from j or usa without warranty.

Consoles from jumbo are for 1900 dhs with killzon and 2000 - 2050 for second son being sold with the game.
None other than that are being sold. anyone saying that is either misguiding u or the site is not updated. Simple.

Right now in Pakistan ntsc j reg is around 47500 - 48000 rupees.

I can challenge the situation i witnessed on souq.com where they were purchasing the same 1600 dhs console without warranty ( j reg ) and selling it to me at 1749 dhs. On their site they have not mentioned where they are buying their stuff and selling which region.

In dubai, only official warranty is jumbo. Anything being sold less than that is either without warranty or another region. Dubai Reg is Pal reg 2.. Sony claims these this system in pakistan without any charges.

Yeah cheaper one are USA ones if you are going for official warranty you will have to pay extra
as most of us in pakistan carries no warranty so it shouldn't be issue for or should it be ?

but here at Geant store you can get standalone Pal with Jumbo warranty at 1799AED with 100AED voucher
