Hello all, I'm facing an error (WS-37397-9) on my PS4, I'm unable to sign in or play online.
When I looked up on the net I got to know that this error comes when Sony bans your IP Address.
Faced it on Sunday as well but somehow I managed to change the IP address from the router settings. But now again today I'm getting this error and even changing the IP Address from the settings doesn't seem to work. What exactly should I do?
I'm using Storm Fiber 10mbps package. Got it installed last month, never ever faced this error since past 3 years until Sunday.
Even called up storm fiber and they said they can't change the IP, after arguing they told me to hold up and in the end they hung up.
Any help please?

I had a similar problem with my ps4 not be able to log on to psn or do anything online. I checked the error it gave on Google, apparently you need to send it to Sony for repairs in North America if it happens since I can't do that. I reintialzed the ps4 completely. The problem was solved.

So back up your ps4 save files and try that. My problem was fixed. But then the error it gave me was different.
Hope this helps.

It's not a hardware neither a software issue. The issue is that Sony from its end keeps on blocking the IP addresses that we're assigned from our ISP's.
I really don't want to re-initialize my console and lose all the data! :p
Any way, how do I even backup the data?

Nit sure how you transfer data.. The thing I was recommending, transferring was the save files. On a USB. That's what I did.

But what if it actually is a Sony Ip ban thing. Why do you you send Sony and email?. They most probably will help out
