one more thing ..i noticed today that multiman does not detect my external 1 tb or 500gb hdd .
i had copyied some games to them which i downloaded from the net ..so how do i copy those to the internal hdd now --
or if i want to use a external hdd to play games from whats the process
the drives are formated in fat32 coz the same hdd has games for my jtag console and its in fat32.

Guys i so want to play Splinter Cell Trilogy HD but i can't i updated my firmware from rogero 4.30 to 4.46 but i can't run this game it starts ok with UBI soft logo and all but when it starts downloading data it get stuck on 1% or 2% sometimes it stucks on 0% tell me whats wrong how can i run this game so frustrated.
well the wd external hdd do not with ps3..the new usb 3.0 models --as they are usb powered the usb ports in ps3 just dont have it in them i guess ,,hell it wont even show in xmb menu --u need a y cable for them to work --meaning u have to make a external hdd with casng which supports y cable as these new usb 3.0 do not come with y cables ..
do we have to change the partation type of external hdd ..i know its fat32 but what about primary paration / logical ..
coz inthe forums it says logical partation has to be made for ps3 to read the hdd ..

ok i am on rogero 4.46 1.1 and i got beyond 2 souls t work on my external hdd connected to ps3 with bd miroor and selected both internal / external .
now the last of us does not work in sence it loads and i can see the last of us icon in the corner of the screen but thats about it --it does not go beyond that ..why is that i tried various options for it ..but to no avail bd mirror internal / external both etc.

^last time when i had ps3, i was also unable to play Last of Us, coz it was copied from ext to int hdd. it only worked when game was copied to int hdd thru ftp.
Reason is, the 4+gb sized files get split in ext hdd, and when it is copied back it doesnt unite or something.
or there might be some other solution.

the files of PS3 are all seperated (not a single file like ISO), and out of those files there are a few files which are more than 4gb sized.
just copy the game thru ftp to intrnal hdd of ps3.
if u dont know how to use ftp, dowmload Filezilla client on PC, on ps3 side open multiman and configure netwrk setings as to connect to PC. u can simply google for detailed instructions.
if u want to updat game u can go to multiman, select game, go to options and update.

i have copyied the game to the hdd as said , choose bd mirror and internal it loads to the point where it says the last of us on the corner of the screen and thats about it

the new version cfw 4.50 v1.3 has not cinvia disabled meaning u can play blu ray backups on ur ps3 with no issues .

The shopkeeper from where I purchase my stuff (being the @$$ he is) is telling me to bring my system to him to upgrade my cfw for 600 rupees.
So, the uploader has stated the following methods to update my PS3:
"Method 1
Remove the disc from BD drive
Rename the downloaded firmware file Rogero CFW 4.50 v1.00.PUP to PS3UPDAT.PUP.
Copy the firmware file PS3UPDAT.PUP to USB flash drive (FAT32) to a folder PS3/UPDATE.
Insert the USB flash drive into the PS3.
Turn on the PS3.
On the PS3, select system updates, update from media and follow the instructions on the screen.
Firmware is installed.

Started Dead Island 2, and i find it pretty lame. The story is shit. The characters are either cringe or bland (all 6 of them), The gameplay isn't fun. Even the goddamn zombies don't behave like proper zombies. They're all fast & intelligent unlike how zombies are supposed to be like. Any fan of "zombie" genre cannot possibly like this shitfest of a game. Dying Light 2 was million times better than this shit.
