Playstation PS2 Modchip Help Required

Went to a few gaming shops and found out about the available PS2 modchips so I need your help in deciding which one I should get for my PS2.

1) M7 = 800 to 1000 Rs

2) M7 Ultra = 1000 - 1500 Rs

3) Flasher = 2000 - 3000 Rs


The shop I am most confident about is Kiran Zone on Main Blvd Defence, Lahore since I used to purchase all my stuff from them a few years back and they have been in the business for decades. The guy quoted me 800 for M7 modchip and 2000 for Flasher modchip but he said he'll give me some discount and a few free games.

So I want your opinion if you guys have any experience with these modchips and which one should I get? The shop guy recommended Flasher and said it loads games faster and protects the lense from damage bla bla bla. So I want to know if it's worth going with Flasher instead of the cheaper M7 since in my opinion they should all work the same right and it's just a matter of brand right???

What I meant to say is that unlike other modchips, the Flasher modchip provides a better protection against damage to the lense due to short circuit, loadshedding etc.

Do you have any recommendations though?

I dont know about the names but I remember that I got a modchip installed in my PS2 for Rs. 1800 in year 2007, it lasted forever, until I sold my PS2 in 2010 and it was in perfect working condition. I think it must be the one you're getting for 1000 to 1500 at this time.

Get the flasher modchip, to be on the safe side. As the modder says that he will provide a further discount and few free games, so its not a bad deal. Get him to give it to you for 1800 rs.

Get the flasher. Its more expensive but it will also be more safe and worth it. Games will run better and will run more efficiently with less errors as the cheaper mod chips sometimes have trouble running copied games.

Plus he's giving me 2 years warranty for the chip so it looks like a good deal eh?

No problem bro.
And I believe so, my PS2 had a Flasher modchip I think. Can't remember for sure as its been a long time. But it ran games pretty well.

Same here. My PS2 was came modded but then it got a problem within few days, so i got a new modchip installed and it ran perfectly ever after
