So finally the wait is over. After researching alot on reviews etc i have bought some upgrades to my system. My trusty SandyBridge 2600k was still kicking ass but wanted to now move to higher generation with PCIE 3.0. So without further adieu here are the upgrades going in to my system.

Processor: 6th Generation core i7 6700k
Motherboard: Gigabyte Z170x Gaming 7
Memory: Corsair Dominator Platinum 16GB DDR4 3200MHz
Graphic Card: EVGA GTX 1080 FTW 8GB (Special Thanks to @AdIlTaHiR for the quick import.)
Storage: Seagate 4TB

Sorry for the bad quality of pics. Had really short time to unbox and setup the rig. This setup was up and running in like an hour Funny thing is when i put my seagate EVO 850 in, it automatically booted and loaded windows 10. I mean for a few minutes it said getting your devices ready and it loaded the windows. I did not connect to the internet yet so dont know if it will be still activated as it was windows 8.1 OEM key which was upgraded to windows 10 for free. Any advice in this regard whether i should keep using this windows or do a fresh install would be appreciated.

Sure man. Right now I need help in deciding whether to use existing windows which miraculously booted with complete new hardware or do a fresh new install. If i should do a new install then where could we buy cheapest window 10 key.

Better do a clean install. There is a option in windows recovery where your files can be retained and windows will be reinstalled or do a clean one.

Thanks bro. I had already sold my i7 2600k and board and could not wait for a new generation. Even my 2600k was not so bottlenecked so i figured 6700k would be more than enough for gaming. Plus the new kaby lake will be in same price range with very little performance improvement.
However i had problem finding a motherboard as retailers have halted import of 170 motherboards in anticipation of 270 chipset. I wanted to get asus z170 pro or asus maximus viii hero but could not find it locally. So went with gigabyte as it is a rock solid motherboard with good reviews.

Thanks man! I am going to flash the new bios the first thing after installing windows. That would hopefully keep temps undercontrol. Plus my high air flow case has a 140mm fan right on window panel for the gpu. So plenty of cooling their

Now i just wish i had a 4k display. My 1080p display is the same for like 6-7 years [emoji14]

So the dual bios of EVGA are now flashed to latest version and a custom fan curve set. Playing for a while card reached max 56C and it boosted to 2025Mhz right out of the box. But the card is not being utilized at full potential. This card is an overkill for 1080p gaming

Finally after waiting and asking EVGA to reship a new set of thermal pads now they have arrived to me. Can't wait to do this and get peace of mind for future They have now also included thermal pads for the VRAM which were not being shipped earlier which is a good thing as they will be torn in process of removing the front plate. Previously they were sending only thermal pads for mosfets and the backplate.
