Playstation Playstation 3 buying advice

I'm getting the chance to get a ps3 from the US. I've previously owned the 360 and am in the dark as far as ps3 details are concerned. Seeing the response that The Last of Us has gotten I feel I must get the ps3 now and play it and all other exclusives.

So I was looking for deals and found this:
Sony PlayStation 3 250GB Uncharted 3: Game of the Year Bundle 99106 - Best Buy

I would like to know the following:

1. Which region console is this and is this the latest hardware revision?
2. Does it support 220V (will it run in Pakistan without a voltage converter?)
3. Are there any better deals out there for me? A Last of Us Bundle would be awesome! or one with two controllers (Please suggest deals from US stores such as amazon etc)
4. Is this a good price?

1. Region does not matter on PS3 because it is a region-free console. Yes this is the latest hardware revision.

2. Most probably PS3s have voltage of 110v~230v so thats also not an issue but you should always ask the retailer before purchase. Call Best Buy and ask them about the voltage thing.

3. As of now, there isn't any TLoU bundle but this one is awesome. Others are God Of War Ascension and Assassins Creed 3 bundles, but if I were you, I would buy this.

4. This is a good price but this is the official price on the sony website so Best Buy isn't giving you any special discount, but yet it is a good price.

1. I'm guessing it is Region 1 (NTSC/UC) since it's up for sale on Ebay. The region is printed on the back of the box which isn't visible in the picture.

2. It should definitely work as normally as you XBox 360 does on 220V.

3, Since you are mainly getting the PS3 in order to be able to play some of the most brilliant PS3 exclusives like The Last of Us, I would suggest you don't bother with such expensive bundles from abroad. If you value PS3's free online multiplayer and plan to play online as well, I would suggest you buy a 320GB PS3 Slim from one of the Premium Sellers here on Pakgamers (amaga would be my personal suggestion).
Otherwise, if you don't mean to bother with the online play, just buy a used jailbreak PS3 in the marketplace from a seller who has a good trading score. Advantages include: dirt cheap games, ability to download and keep the games in the HDD and a possibility of playing online.

4. The price with free shipping may seem tempting but the custom charges and other costs still apply despite the free shipping. That takes the price up by a mile.

I hope that would suffice.

How about if I had someone buy it from the store and bring it over in his luggage. Will it still cost extra.

All I mean to say is, you could save quite a few bucks buying it locally if PS3 exclusives are all you are looking to play on the PS3, since you already have an XBox 360.

Someone bringing in a 6 - 8 kg console at this hour can only be a relative ( on request ). Their would be a 60 - 80 dollar extra charge getting it in here . If you have the resources, please go ahead or pay the price getting it here

Thank you for the guidance everyone. I have made up my mind to get the ps3 from a reputed pg seller rather than getting one from the US. Just seems more beneficial overall.
