I am using ZONG 4G LTE wingle for gaming on PS4. Back home I have PTCL 8mb. Here are the motay motay facts that I feel you should know.
1. One DO NOT CREATE A HOT SPOT from your phone. For a better gaming experience you need the Broadband SIM in a Modem/4G Device.
2. ZONG and WARID would have NAT TYPE 3. Only Ptcl Charji has NAT TYPE 2. So keep that mind depending on your gaming needs.
3. Zong offers 50GB data for 2000 rupees, which is sufficient for a month of online gaming but 24GB /1500 rupees is not
Now my suggestions based on my experiences are Go landline broadband if you have the option for it. Secondly if you are willing to go for 4G, check for signals of Charji. If they are good then go for it as it has NAT TYPE 2. I tried to port forwarding on my Zong LTE but failed miserably. The signals of Zong are stable and pings are stable as well. My gaming experience is the same on both PTCL broadband and Zong, which is a good thing. Sometimes I feel that the stability of 4G is even better than the PTCL landline. NO disconnects ever !!
Hence 4G is not a bad option if using the device and a dedicated broadband sim and Charji would be just as good as PTCL 8 mb land line.
All these are based on my experiences and may vary in your case. Any how I felt like sharing the info
