Photography hub of Pakistan (My Ongoing Effort/Product)

Aoa Bhaio,

Long time PG Lurker, didn't even know this section existed until today. So without further ado,

Me and My friend have been working silently for quite a long time now on Photography of Pakistan - LoOp

In short, it's a Photographers' Hub / Online Community for Pakistan, much like PG is for Pakistani Gamers. We are working hard, implementing things, improving things right now.

So it would be a great morale boost for us if you guys check it out, post your work, give us suggestions and help us make it a bit populated. After all, whats a portal without active users.

Well what is its main purpose? At the moment it looks like a profile / portfolio website where there r pictures and stuff.
Try to contact good photographers and do an interview sort of thing and you can also ask them to write an article or tutorial for some basic stuff and not just share work, share other's portfolio also if you want it such a website.

The main purpose is to promote local Photography, both professional and hobbyist. And yes, our initial focus was to make it an online portfolio website, but that's long done and we are moving forward in directions you mentioned. We will soon contact photographers and put their stuff here too. Also blog section is almost done being developed and will host photography articles like you said.

Professional photographers interview is a nice suggestion, I've written it down thank you.


In short, we are trying to make it such a place where photographers hang out, upload their work, discuss photography, comment on other peoples work, and get hired online.(this part is done too) and sell hard copies of their photos.
