Like who are you working with. etc.
something like....
Which people dont this is a scam. xD
We are not working with anyone. That is the whole point. The minute this "open-initiative" gets owned by someone or some company, the whole thing gets blown to bits and then all sorts of favouritism starts. If you want to look me up, you can do so via my blog (faisalkhan dot com) or search for me by name, Faisal Khan on Quora and see how and what I have contributed towards payments & payments sytems.
There is nothing "scam" about it. You can opt not to give you name or email, everything else, is something we use for our data analysis. There is no possible way and/or method that I could "scam" you from your data submitted (barring the identity which is an optional matter).

couple of years back i was working for NIFT (
NIFT - National Institutional Facilitation Technologies (Pvt.) Limited.) well to be exact i was working for NIFTeTRUST (
www.niftetrust.com) and we were/are affiliates of VeriSign Inc in Pakistan, we did a comprehensive study on depoyment of gateway for Pakistan since the only one at that time (Citibank) was in shambles, to cut the story short never did materlized, than some lahore company brought a gateway God knows what happened to them, Last i heard Bank Alfallah was in final stages of deploying their e-payment gateway for Pakistan.
Currently quite a few merchant gateways are coming out.
HBL's Cybersource (VISA) Gateway gets launched in the 1st week of November. UBL already has a Cybersource gateway, so does Bank AL-Falah, but its not online yet (presumably, it will go online with Monet). NIB is launching their Mastercard based MIGS (slated for November 2013 launch, but that's questionable), but they will only be processing Mastercard payments as they yet do not have VISA payment processing capabilities. All these gateways will not process American Express or other cards, as that association part of the business is not yet established.
There are 3-4 companies who have applied with State Bank of Pakistan to bring into Pakistan other gateway operators, how that will span out, is too early to say.
