I'd say go for a Lock. Lock damage has been nerfed on retail. But they're not easy to play in Arena mind you. Not easy at all.

Rogue vs Warlock

having played Warlock at 80 id say WTF teh damage iz insane

I'd Say go for Warlocks. You'll level up must faster and will even be able to do some group quests on your own. I say this as Blooby has helped me a lot in group quests using his clothie warlock and void walker.

Level up as Affliction. Siphon Life will make you handle as many mobs as a Prot pally can (No Shit!).

im moar incline towards Rogue

i enjoyed lock in 3.1.3
i got records of 10k Chaos and 11k Conflag with 9k Incinerate *drool*

as affliction i had Corruption tick for 1k on 1000 Resilience Paladin and 1600 average on no Resilience

but Rogue iz well Rogue :3
they never get nerfed and always excel in any PvP scenario

^Its your personal preference really but Rogue have changed. Ever since 3.0 came all rogues have shifted to hybrid assassinate and subtlety build as compared to the deep subtlety build in TBC days.

I kinda like Combat more than anything else. Killing Spree will everyone cry in 1v1 situation. Also combat is my favorite build in PvE as well.
