Opinions about DHA SUFFA university.

I gave the entry test just as a fallback option. Their faculty looks quite impressive but not even one batch has graduated from that university as of yet. Do you guys think it's worth it to go there?

Which field you are trying to get into?
It its the usual Electronics, Computers, Telecom etc then you should prefer SSUET, UIT first. If its Electrical or Mechanical you're looking for then go for it since its one of the only few pvt unis which offer these disciplines as well. Only top tier and well respected unis offer Electrical and Mechanical Engg mostly so the number of graduates every year are considerably lower than disciplines like Electronics, CS etc and they have also put alot of effort and money in their mechanical dept. Btw, NED or NUST should be ur first priority because in Pakistan graduates of these public renowned unis are preferred first for the jobs

well I am aiming for mechanical engr. I have applied in nust and awaiting response but i dont think itll happen. Im open to computer engr. , electronic and biomed engr. as well but i cant go outside Karachi. What i wanted to know is , is it worth it to go there if i get addmission in dha suffa. Keep in mind that dha suffa has been recruiting heavily in terms of faculty including those from nust , ned , fast etc.

Yes I kind of figured you don't want to go outside Khi that's why I only recommended you of NUST(PNEC KHI BRANCH) and NED. Otherwise I would've recommended you of GIKI, UET Lahore, Taxila etc too. Hmm, so you're not sure about getting into NUST, what about NED? Try to get into NED first. If you can't then you should definitely go for DHA SUFFA. Their faculty is excellent. I remember two years ago when they started hiring some top quality teachers, a handful of great professors from NED Electrical and Mechanical depts left NED for Suffa since they were offering them some serious money. I also attended an education expo held an year ago in Khi where DHA Suffa were claiming that they have put some serious efforts and money especially in their Mechanical Dept. Their labs are equipped with latest apparatus and stuff. Btw, if after engg. you plan on settling outside Pakistan, it won't even really matter since outside Pak all universities are considered equal. They just see that you've received your education from Pakistan and thats it.
EDIT: If you're looking to go into Electronics in pvt unis then u should prefer ssuet and uit over suffa.
