just email to ptcl and tell them to change your ip address to isb its simple then your ip will be 182.xxx.x.x i did this in past now im getting full speed even sometimes my speed exceeds from the normal values.

I dont have speed issues, i only have ping issues, on European servers i get around 180 to 190. Im trying to find a way to reduce that. Has it helped with your pings and by what percentage?

I checked their page and their pings are not any different from what im getting on PTCL currently on my fiber optic line. So i dont know how can you claim to get better pings. They do have a cheaper internet, 2500 for 20mbps but ive read many bad reviews about their installation time and customer service so that kept me from getting their internet otherwise i once planned to apply for it.

And 50 mbps for 4000 pkr? That sounds more like a fking scam than reality like rest of their packages.

For me, when I'm getting normal pings, my average ping time is around 50ms less than PTCL.

PS If they can give 20Mbps in 2500PKR then they can give 40Mbps in 4000PKR as well.

PPS I checked a PTCL DSL connection and you're right, I couldn't move out of the 39.x.x.x range which gives 250-300+ms pings to EU

Are you from Lahore or Karachi? Can you post some ping test results to western and eu servers, ill be really glad. Ive also read on another forum that ppl were getting 120-150ms pings with zong 4g? Anyone has any idea about that?!

I'm from Lahore. I'm getting 220+ms ping with Zong.
If you have any specific servers in mind, give me the IPs and I'll ping.

this is the normal latency ptcl can gave you they cant reduce further btw my ping is in b/w 290-300+ms all the time now i stop gaming and watching videos in 144p online gaming is not possible in pak.

Yar it changes automatically. Normally our IPs are dynamic and it get assigned by ISP. I just checked on the 39.42.x.x IP. Hope it would be good on the 182.x.x.x.x IP
