Nope. Plasmas are generally considered much better. Better contrast ratios, deeper blacks, more accurate colors, better motion tracking are just some of the advantages over an LCD. But there are disadvantages as well like producing more heat, image burn-in over time etc. (like LCDs suffer from dead/stuck pixels)

Although like Nomad said depending on the model you may find an LCD having just as good an image quality as a Plasma, but it will be more expensive as well.

nice pics, yeh thts rite, its not necessary tht LCDs are better then Plasmas, infact Plasmas dosen't hav such problems like lag time & producing deep blacks as compared to LCDs, but high end models by Sammy & Sony LCD are different beat

Nice pics those zephon, any framerate or screen tear issues in the PS3 version of RDR? How is the pop-in & draw distance in gameplay?
