[OT] Official Anime Recommendation/Watching Currently Thread!

I waited pretty damn long for this one to come out, and when it finally did, I was pumping with joy. Special thanks to @frazgta for the links. Surprisingly, the movie was in HD quality, and the subs were satisfactory, with so many anime watching I myself found some parts of the subs incorrect and got the gist lol
Anyways, the movie is an epilogue to Anohana anime, and might I add it ends beautifully. The movie does well to keep the rythm going with occasional flashbacks to the anime, to refresh your memory and pull out a tear or two. To keep this absolutely spoiler free, the movie is about 'Super Peace Busters' trying to deal with what happened after the anime's end. They each had their own way of coping with it, and each provided their own explanation so they could move on. I'll stop myself from saying more, so I don't entirely spoil it lol.
Anyways the epilogue was pretty damn decent, the movie was good, albeit not as great as the anime. It failed to meet my expectations, due to enormous amount of hype accumulated in me, but regardless it was good in its own right.

Do the madoka movies add anything to the overall plot or are they just more of the same subpar mahou shoujo deconstruction that the anime was? =/

I'm watching the bakemonogatari series these days though.
Finally watched it.
Loved it. It is about how everyone has moved on after the anime and nicely gives a recap of sorts too.
It was a trip down FEELS lane. Many emotional moments from the anime were shown in the movie, including the ending, which just overwhelmed me with FEELS. Such an awesome ending it was. Reminded me how great the anime was.
The movie ending was nice too and it was great to see Super Peace Busters in that state.
A must watch for those who have watched the anime.

Just finished Nagi no Asukara. Apart from a couple of things it was pretty good. The animation and soundtrack + OP and EDs are amazing. Story's kinda good too.

Search for shounen anime. Can't really recommend as I don't really like the shounen genre that much.

So i just found out that f***ing s***bag Microsoft shut down Arkane Studio (makers of the brilliant Dishonored series) and Tango Gameworks (makers of the iconic The Evil Within series), among some other studios. Started Dead Island 2, and i find it pretty lame. The story is shit. The characters are either cringe or bland (all 6 of them), The gameplay isn't fun. Even the goddamn zombies don't behave like proper zombies. They're all fast & intelligent unlike how zombies are supposed to be like. Any fan of "zombie" genre cannot possibly like this shitfest of a game. Dying Light 2 was million times better than this shit.
