No SIM Problem After Flash

Salam,
I have a Galaxy S3 GT I9300 and I've successfully rooted the device and installed a custom recovery...whenever I flash a custom ROM which is not based on stock e.g Cyanogen,LiquidSmooth,Ressurection Remix...my phone does not detect my sim.
Is there any fix to this?

That could be because baseband gets screwed in the process. (take a backup of your EFS Partition, to preserve your IMEI).

I can only think of one thing, and that is "Baseband needs repairing". But i might be wrong. Best way to check? Well ... see if there is a IMEI (or a correct one; not the 0049xxx something) in Settings > About. If there isn't, then its what i have mentioned before.

bro flash the stock rom...
and after that root ur phone....and flash cwm..
after that install a custom rom...
with the 3 way thingi.....
Complete format of system and data.....
then cache and then delvik cache...
and use the latest recovery always..
Backup efs folder...
always a good thingi if u dont screw up...
rest should be all good..

Same error...No network...The Wifi bluetooth work fine but the SIM does not
The contacts in the sim show up but the IMEI is NULL the baseband version is unknown.

Update: I did the whole process again and found that when I rooted in the stock using CF Auto Root, I got no IMEI and No baseband...

If the IMEI is null. You won't be able to use GSM at all. Did you backup ES parition? If you did. Does it have nv_data.bin in it? It has your IMEI/Baseband Info.

I fixed the NULL IMEI problem...Somehow the TWRP recovery was messing with the EFS partition...I installed Philz recovery and got back the IMEI and everything...but the problem still remains...if I flash the Temasek CM 12 or any other rom not based on official stock...I get no IMEI and No Network

If you got your IMEI back and Network still isn't available Even in stock. I'm afraid but it might be a hardware related 'ISSUE'.

Got the network back...now but one question remains...why doesn't any custom ROM work? :/

Follow the instructions and report back, Install the Custom ROM. After Its done. Install Stock Baseband/Radio. GSM will work on custom Rom!

it's GT-I9300 and it doesn't work...already tried the MK6,MG4, and NF1 baseband...
