Hi,

Guys, I am really fedup of light issues in my area. Koi time nhi light kay anay ya janay ka, I was thinking about buying a ups for computer, can anyone guide or suggest and share their experience ?? My system specs are below

Rx 460 gb
650 watt corsair psu
2x 8gb corsair vengence
Core i7 7700
Gigabyte motherboard
1 tb sshd
3 fans with chasing.
Asus 24 inch lcd moniter.

I checked online for total power consumption and it was around 350 max.
How much backup does a computer ups give ?? What are some good companies to go with ?? And what is the price range !?

there are two options .. either go for sinewave ups of 650 va but backup time will be 3 to 5 minutes cx of single battery of 12v, 7 amps inside the ups which is user friendly in terms of money but restarting possibilities are always there if ur power supply shuts off in 5ms or above in case of outages.. other option is pure sine wave ups .. no restarting issue ... cheaper ups are chinese made that are flooded in market .. or u can go for APC BRAND .. m using this one too .. check out this site UniWorld Technologies | We handle APC sales, Installation, APC service, Annual Maintenance contract (AMC), APC UPS battery replacement.

m also using APC with 3 hours backup time .. 650 va is cheap ups n its model is back ups cs ... m using 1500 va that makes 980 watts ... wrks with 2 batteries .. m using with 135 ampere liquid ags batteries .. 650 va ll cost u 11k .. 1500 va ll cost u 25 to 30k without batteries .. if u want more cheaper ups of apc then go for old used models .. thy ll cost u like 18k .. all ups are with one year software n hardware warranty ..

Guys do they come with batteries ??? What will be the backup timing of the default ups that has batteries included. I am thinking of the 650 one..

ups does 2 things .. one is tackle your load and second one is to charge the batteries .. thatz it ... nothng more n nothing less .. now comes the backup part .. the higher the rating of batteries more backup time ll be the result ... 650 va has single battery of 7 amps .. 1 kva has 2 batteries of 12 amps .. 1.5 kva has 2 batteries of 18 amps .. so internal battery backup is like 10 to 15 minutes max to max .. n this ll gradually gradually decreases with the passage of time .. so if u want a ups only for time to shut down ur pc safely then go for internal batteries orelse use external batteries fr more backup .. 650 va is sine wave not pure one .. so in case u get to no that this ups is restarting ur pc without no reason thn u will switch to pure sine wave ultimately.. but if u think it wont then 650 va ll be best fr u ..

yes! indeed .. cux u will ultimately fed up with this short back up thing .. go for apc model smart ups sua1500i that m using .. n for batteries .. its upto u how much mullah u wanna spend for that .. 100 amps / 135 amps / 150 amps ..choice is urz ...
