Okay in future i would appreciate we keep all requests for buying tips and questions here, i see so many people have asked good questions and then those threads just vanish or forgotten.

Will appreciate if some guys keep updating us with current prices as well, street prices. Online stores we all can check and mostly they are higher than street prices and we have to work hard to get good deals out of them.

So lets talk about cameras here, it can be anything, an accessory or camera itself. Will make my efforts to share what i know or have used, but there are many professionals here who are quite good and doing quality work. So i hope they also share their experience and professional knowledge here while recommending something to new guys starting this engaging and healthy hobby.

Why go for 18-140mm when you had a 18-55mm kit lens? You could have bought a 55-200mm and covered whole range. You should know that lenses are usually less sharp if they cover more range. You might say that kit lens was not good, but VR II is good enough.

50mm 1.8 sure is a blessing in low light situation but given adequate light to work with, 55-200mm zoomed at ~85mm gives better bokeh and facial features (my primary usage). I find 50mm unflattering for faces.

And now try to use a non touch screen camera and you will feel like you are back in stone ages :)

thanx for sugesstions.that video really helpfull for me.even i read its digiotal manual but still lot of point i got in that video which i missed in manual n thought i dont need to watch it :p

actually kit lens is not in my use.want sum zoom in photos with max wide angle for casual use.so y bought that 1.(no need to change lens frequently)when i feel 18-200mm was more better for me.dono if its quality is less then others.but powe zoom is much in my use.
btw befor i had plan to get 55-200 or 70-300mm.but sum 1 refer me to get 55-300 lens.so thinking abt it now.
if u guys know whihc is bett in all these (quality wise) then suggest me.
55-300
55-200
70-300

and 1 more thing, i m not using any filer with my lenes.u guys recommend it to use with lenes?

and which 1?Nikon genuine 1?
cos sum of my customer import 5,6 lens filters from usa (via me)these all were Japan made.so i can import these stuff from usa,not a matter.but if they really worth to use.
so any advice?

In Lahore one might only require 18-140mm as it's a gud range for cityscape n Street photography
And 2000$ + is said for lenses even a 300mm f4 costs more than 2000
There r cheaper lenses also but cheap lenses r cheap for a reason, they have poor autofocus bad image quality and they r not weather resistant
Never cheap out on lenses, always invest in expensive glass as it always remains in ur kit one can always change cameras but lenses never get old

weather resistant for rain n hot weather? (40,50 degree)

I'm selling D810 but that will be expensive for you as new is 250k n I'm asking 200k
But d750 is a great camera new is I think 150k or 149k from nisbat road
D610 is also great value for money
Check specs difference between the two n choose ur camera accordingly

Tamron 70-300 VC USD SP is a good lens will be around 35k

thanx fr suggestion.as u know i m still noob n dono much abt variety of these lenses.

i was lookin for "Tamron Auto Focus 70-300mm f/4.0-5.6 Di LD" due to its Macro features too. LINK

so if i ll go for 35k Tamron, then i think Nikon 70-300 is best option for me (sorry if i m wrong)

Not exactly an expert but I believe the Canon EOS 700d is a great camera in this budget. HSN is selling a package for 51k including the DSLR, tripod and sd card.

iNCEPTiON nafu sorry I don't have good internet at my location so sorry for a late reply

Your both choices r excellent
Omd EM10 is an excellent package in that price n lenses r also cheap n better quality than entry level Canon n Nikon equivalents n size is super convenient

D5300 is an amazing camera also n image quality wise much better than Canon equivalent but lenses will be super amazing

Canon has also done good offerings in that price range I will suggest get a Canon if u plan to expand ur lenses
Olympus is amazing value for money
Nikon best image quality in all 3 ...
Now decision is urs what suits u best

You reap what you sow. This is what happens when you take away choice from consumers. Even with 88% split going to developers, they can't recoup costs. Meanwhile, Helldivers 2 is a massive hit for Sony thanks in big part to Steam.
