hello guyz....i need a suggestion as i m bit confused in buying ups. i need it for my work purpose. basically my requirement is i need backup for normal loadshedding so lets say 1hour after every 3 hours approx (coz in summer loadshedding usually occurs after every couple of hours). i will be using 2 or 3 fans, 4 or 5 energy savers, 2 normal pc and 1 my own pc in which i got 800 watts psu and normally i use 70% load of it at any minute. so my choices for ups are that 1st is i can go for desi ups of 2000 watts with 175 amp AGS batteries pair. 2nd option is i can go for APC 2200VA (1600watts) pure sine wave (refurbished model) but i have to attach 4 batteries (according to shopkeeper) which can be little bit costly but i can consider it. 3rd optin is i can go for APC 1400VA (950watts) pure sine wave refurbished model but i donno if it can handle that much load. i dont want any restart for my system at all. btw my psu charge holding time is 16ms (according to specs on internet) which is plus point i guess. so all suggestions are welcome.

Desi UPS is a known capacitor killer. I.e. your electronics, ceiling fans etc. So dont go down that road no matter what.

1400 VA is too less for the load you mentioned (700W + 2 normal PC + 2 Fans + 4 Energy Savers)

So your only option is to go for 2200 VA.
