[NBA] Best (ENHANCED CAPACITY) Replacement Battery for Samsung Galaxy S i9000

Hello

As the title suggests, I need advice on the best replacement battery for Samsung Galaxy S i9000. The original 1500mAh for the phone lasts 3-4 hours or a tad bit over at best with continued use on my phone that was rooted to Cyanogen mod just recently. I don't even play games on the phone so it's a bit annoying to see it give up so soon with browsing only.

I was wishing this phone could somehow last about as long as Samsung Galaxy Note does with its 2500mAh but perhaps I am being too wishful. Nevertheless, I would fancy maximum possible increase in its battery life as long as it is significant and actually worth my money.

Having said that, I would welcome advice on the matter preferably from people who actually own or have owned the phone and know of such reliable batteries and the kind of performances they have delivered.

Firstly, I am from Rawalpindi as clearly mentioned under my location. Secondly, I want increased battery capacity so that the phone could last longer with random browsing so an original battery of the same capacity won't do me much good.

That doesn't qualify as a suggestion but an opinion instead which I am seriously not looking for. That's not enough battery timing for me. To each his own.

@abobobilly before I receive any more of such impertinent responses, I thought I'd ask you for your advice on the matter.

Firstly, calm down bro.

Visit Singapore Plaza and get any Extended Battery that comes with its own battery door. It should be at least 2000mAh. That'll last longer. There's no need to make a thread about such a small problem. Galaxy S is an ancient phone anyway.

And if you don't find an extended battery, don't be surprised. They're not easily available here in Pakistan. You could order one through from Ebay/Amazon via HSN.

It's just that it seems a no brainer to come to someone's thread just to post a one-liner that is not remotely linked to the question asked. i have noticed this kind of attitude with many threads here on Pakgamers and while this one isn't even quite close to the BS people here do with threads, it is still something I don't appreciate. I expect others to be helpful and kind while posting in another serious thread where OP requires assistance.

Anyway, I am prepared to order one from Amazon but I am just not sure which one exactly (brand and model) produces best results with the maximum possible battery timing compared to the original 1500mAh SGS battery.

I ordered something very similar for a friend's Galaxy S (T-Mobile variant).

It looks ugly as hell though because the phone becomes a massive curved brick. But you'll be satisfied with the performance.

It shouldn't make the phone look ugly yet it would add a good amount of hours to the tally from what reviews I have read on Amazon. Anyone had any experience with one of these?
