[NBA]A printer in budget of 8k......CISS system

hello......i just need some advice from fellow pgers.............
thinking of buying a printer for educational needs........budget is about 8k........
i dont have any previous experience with printers so any advice is welcomed.........
also i am seeing more and more CISS systems installed on printers in shops...............does these go on inkjets?
and are they easily available and can i buy it in my budget......???

Get an hp laser jet model# p1102 from an official hp store. Got one last year for 9k price must have decreased now.

Most of the shopkeepers and printing studios go with Epson printers because of their ease of printing and easy availability.

ABM Data Systems Pvt. Limited are the official Epson dealers in Pakistan. However, they do not sell CISS kits, you'll have to buy from a local printer repair/refiller shop.

However, I bought my printer from a local Epson shop.They install CISS kits and also I don't have to worry about any thing as I can just call them if something goes wrong with the kit.

You can easily get a simple inkjet printer in 8K range with CISS kit.

also CISS kit means that i dont have to replace cartridge right? meaning i can use the printer for longer period of time..
and CISS kits can be refilled easily? and do u have any idea about cost of refilling?

CISS is basically a type of mod/hack. You can refill the ink cartridges yourself, you can easily buy the ink bottles and refill it. One ink set can cost from 300 to 1500, depending upon the ink quality. One set will last you for about 2000 full colour pages or about 4000 document pages.
