Nayatel package that gives NAT type 2 or allows port-forwarding/DMZ?

Asslam-o-Aleikum guys, I just applied for Nayatel connection, but can someone please guide me what package should I chose to get NAT 2/1? Because I know at least 2 friends now that are having NAT issues with their connection. When we go to online application, they give option to chose package, I applied for Home package. But I'm curious if P2P Data Connectivity is what I need. I just want to confirm from fellow Nayatel users if they're using Home package and are they getting NAT 2/1? JazakAllah.

Home Packages are NAT Type 3 by default.

You have to subscribe to their Optimus gaming service for 150 rs per month extra to get NAT type 2 and optimized latencies.

Woah, thanks for info. So that seems to be a new way to make money for these ISPs. Because my friend who recently got storm fiber also had the same issue and had to pay extra to get NAT type 2.

It's usually done by smaller ISPs who have limited IPv4 addresses to give out. So they use CGNAT instead.

Nayatel, StormFiber, Transworld are 3 that I know of that do this. Transworld used to offer switching to NAT Type 2 for free, but now even they charge for it.

The switch to IPv6 would make this issue non existent but I guess ISPs in Pak aren't ready to roll it out yet. (Core networks are IPv6 ready).

I think that is not true. Optimus just provides you with the option to choose eastern or western servers. You can still get nat type 2 without subscribing to Optimus. You may have to call their helpline to change your nat type.
