PTCL SmartTV Wireless LAN IPTV Modem Configuration & IPTV App Configuration
Step#1:
To configure your Modem+Router first you need to open your settings page that by typing "192.168.1.1" or what ever you set your Main Modem+Routers Ip Address. When you have successfully entered the settings page type in the Username & Password which is by default "Admin" for both fields.
Step#2:
Now in this step you have to click on the "Advanced Settings" not the "Easy to Install" button.
Step#3:
In this Step you need to look for "Wireless Tab" which is basically available mostly on the left side.
Step#4:
Once you have successfully entered in the "Wireless Settings Page" you need to keep an eye on few things. Which includes your "Wireless Channel", "Wireless Bandwidth" and the last main function which plays a vital role that is "WMF" which means Wireless Multicast Forwarding. Since this specific feature allows you to enjoy your Smart TV peacefully without any flickering or picture/channel breaking during Wireless Stream.
- People who own "PTCL's Tenda W150D Modem+Router" can follow these settings since these settings have been tested and experimented by me and they work 100% without any problem.
- People who don't own this particular modem should not worry since all you need is "WMF or Wireless Multicast Forwarding" feature in your modem. Since the only question comes to mind that is weather your Modem consists of this feature or not.
- Also those people who lack this particular feature in their Modems should not worry since I'm already working for an alternative which will be shared in this Thread as soon as I will find something useful.
IPTV App Configuration for Android
Step#1:
Go to Android's PlayStore and look for this App which is Named as IPTV
Step#2:
After downloading IPTV App you should also make sure that you have MX Player as well since its essential. When Both of the Apps are installed you need to copy a file from your PC or Laptop to whom you have installed Smart TV PC Application. Search for m3u or m3u8 file in your PC or Laptop. Once found copy it to your Android's Download or what ever folder you like. Now open up your IPTV App and in Playlist add your m3u or m3u8 file like this.
Step#3:
In this final step once the file is loaded in IPTV App it will show you the whole Channel List. But before that it will ask you about UDP Proxy which you have to simply Uncheck. Once you are done with that you can now Watch any Channel via MX Player Lag Free. Since I've already shared the whole procedure how the turn on WMF feature on your Tenda 150D Modem+Router with and without Evo support Edition. Here is a how you'll see the Channel List.
For any quires regarding IPTV App and its configuration feel free to ask.
