Microsoft recently unveiled its new website called Microsoft Student Experience beta, aimed specifically for students. The site is divided into four main sections, namely, Academics, Socialize, Get Involved, and Careers. Each of these sections contains Featured Products/ Resources, How-Tos, and Downloads. For instance, the Academics section features Microsoft products like Office Ultimate 2007, OneNote 2007, Word 2007, Excel 2007, and PowerPoint 2007. You can learn how to perform a certain task using each of these aforementioned tools. So the next time you are stuck on how to merge documents in Microsoft Word, you know where to go!

The Socialize section features Windows Live, Windows Mobile, Zune, Xbox 360, and MSN Video.
Using the Get Involved section, you can participate in various initiatives from Microsoft, such as, The i’m Initiative, Search and Give, Ninemillion, MSN Green, and Share your smiles.
The Careers section contains resources for Microsoft Student Partners, MSN Careers, and so on.
If you are a student, you can benefit by obtaining a lot of useful information on this site. You can even purchase discounted software from Microsoft (for example, Microsoft Office Ultimate 2007 just costs you 600 U.S. $). This site is Silverlight-enabled, but you are still able to browse without it.

first of all its seems to me that u never have visited that site and just have passed the law that there is nothing for paksitani students.....!! bravo....!! so i would rather advise u to first check the site ....

and on that site there is nothing mentioned like that paksitani students are not allowed

there'll be some practicals coming up in my A levels in which this site should come in handy...
p.s they're based on microsoft's softwares like access,word etc btw im doing Applied Information and Communication Technology...
