Errr Demon's Souls does come with QoL improvements. The roll mechanic is now omni-directional, pvp now supports 3v3 for a total of 6 players, excess equipment is automatically sent to your inventory, and healing grass is now more balanced, as it's associated with weight.

I didn't replay Spider-man Remastered, though. Just loaded it up to use my PS4 save file and unlock trophies. Might do the same for Metro Exodus, actually

I mean, Demon's Souls remake is the least sluggish Souls game I've played. Bluepoint reworked the physics and actually made it feel better to play than the original as well as DkS 1, 2, 3. There's audiovisual feedback for every action you perform. The impact of yours as well as your enemies' attacks is much improved

Only disappointment is that it doesn't have some of the gameplay improvements From Soft made in subsequent Souls games, such as dropping on enemies from above and the running attack.
