Werent u going to do medicine? Anyways the test is all they care about, trust me when I gave the SSE test it went bad for me too but still I got in. Hopefully you will get in too. Also as a side note always write proper English in the essay cause thats what they prefer rather than writing English with vocabulary yet lacking sense.
Yeah it happens the same with everyone.
Another thing is that now the competition at SSE is too harsh. Just 25-270 seats for a pool of 30-40k!
I had 8As in O level and my test went normal. Applied for full aid though.
tip to students: if anyone of u have to choose between lums or any other university (even nust, uet).. always always choose lums (of course if u can afford to study there)..

Anyways, my english portion went great, the MCQ's as well as the essay part. It was chemistry and math that scared me.

No one should have high expectation from LUMS. My friends with 8-10A*s got rejected from LUMS. God knows how they decide their merit.
Well I can safely say they decide only on the basis of the test since some of my friends with 6As in O levels are still here whereas a guy with 14A*s isnt. And asking for aid is suicide if you really can afford it since they immediately put you on a separate pile when you ask for aid, and yes if u can afford it LUMS is a good option though I am here and I feel disappointed by the same rote learning GPA oriented parhai.

Try finding out about it since it pretty much has alot of seats and the criteria is largely based on whether ur financially not that stable. And above all else if u can afford LUMS then dont ask for aid, many cheaters often potray themselves as beggars(yes I know people in their freshman batch who have done this) and try to scam the uni into thinking they deserve it. You might as well be taking someones else's future down the drain.

DDThe process is simultaneous. Both run together and not all people apply for FA. And not all FA requests are forwarded and the FA only needs a short background check of ur credentials, nothing deep. Only requests that are accepted are later worked on.

But then again as far as FA is concerned it depends on ur financial situation. They take into account how many cars u have and whats ur electricity bill etc and then decide. Well I dont know if Iskanderabad is a remote area or not but whatever the chance may be it is best to pray for success cause u never know even with shitty grades LUMS might accept anyone with whatever qualifications or in any situation.

Yaar anything can happen. Its just best to remain positive and pray alot, atleast thats what I did. And inshallah you will get an admission in LUMS. Even if u dont always remember Allah always has something better planned for us. You never know what could happen.
