Ever encountered a situation when you finally found a journal article from google scholar etc. but found that it costs money to read it. Later you found that even your institution has no subscription to it?
I know i have been through this many times. Thus over the months i gathered the sites where you can place requests for such articles and get them for FREE!
I am going to start a thread which will list all the sites on internet where you can place a request for a journal article PDFs.
MedicineGround - The Ultimate Medical Knowledge
Scholar
Gigapaper
myescience
The last two seem to be closed and need some sort of invitation to register but the first two are very easy to get into. However do follow general rules to post a request:
Thread Title:
When you make a thread title do not post the article title but use something like this:
Give all the details of article from author name, journal article title, journal name, issue, year, DOI etc.
Follow Forum Rules:
Make sure that you read the forums rules before posting as your thread/account may be trashed for not following rules.
Note: More suggestions are welcome and i will try to update as i discover new resources.
