Life in Islamabd/Rawalpindi need help.....

Hello guyz,
Thinking of moving to Islamabad with family, So need your help can anyone tell me are there good plazas or shopping malls in Islamabad. Which are is affordable and good to live in Islamabad. So just help me what is life like in Islamabad or Rawalpindi as last time i visited was 15 years ago so plz help. Thank You Bye
Also i live in Karachi defense area so comparing to that how is life there and security.

If you currently live in Karachi, coming to Islamabad will probably be one of the worst decisions you make this year ... Compared to Karachi, the twin cities have no life, especially Rawalpindi !! ... You're probably gonna hate the place, so I would suggest coming here on a temporary basis first to assess if you'll get adjusted to the place or not ..

As compared to Karachi it's much safe here but damn boring.
The real fun is in E & F Sectors, Islamabad. All other places are just ho-hum

Well simply said Islamabad is peaceful. No rickshwas or whatnot. But you will find it boring if you are an outgoing type.

Well there are quite a alot of shopping malls. Good shops in Islamabad are mostly located in Jinnah Super or Super market otherwise you can head to Rawalpindi to visit bigger shopping malls.

If you can afford it, i advise you to get a house in any of the F sectors as all of the F sectors are quite good infact best place to live in Islamabad. Otherwise i advise you to get a house in bahria town but it will be quite far.

From Karachi Islamabad is quite different, the traffic is albeit a little bit sensible, shops and markets close early.

I have been living in Islamabad my whole life and love the city and wouldnt dare to mave in another city. Simply put Islamabad is a very peaceful city.

yes G sector has reasonable prices. But you will be able to find houses in F-11 or F-10 sectors.F-7 and F-8 are posch areas and have quite high prices, non affordable for a normal person:wink2:

Also dont opt for the newly build sectors as they are still under development and most of the houses dont even have gas. Also the security situtation there is not good.

Islamabad is the place to be man, you'll find it rather calm.

Too calm for a Karachi going fellow but then you'll get used to it.

You'll soon find the serene and calm environment to your liking.

Besides, what Islamabad has to offer is some thing that Karachi, Lahore, Faisalabad or any place else can not.

How ever that goes like wise what Karachi has to offer is what you can not get here in ISB.

But that doesnt mean that you should get disheartened by some small issues.

After all, when compared to Karachi, this is still a baby.

And when a baby grows up, well its better then its predecessor

So come to Islamabad, get to know the happenings of the place and i'm sure you'll like it.

Dont believe in a word of what i have to say, come see it to believe it is my sincerest advice to you.

For clothes: Everything is in main Saddur. Go2 KFC area, Pizzahut area, National bank area, New Ghakkar plaza area, Hathi chowk area, all these places are walking distances away from each other.

Rawalpindi is an old city & Islamabad is new, both are similar. This is the only difference.

Rwp has no flats I think while Isl is full of...

Dha islamabad is on GT road but landscapes there are breathtaking ..acriss swan river,imagin ur home on a small hill with riven runnin down across ur open window
