Laptop GPU Reball

Hi, i was wondering if anyone can recommend a professional reballing service in lahore. 5 year old Laptop GPU dying, keeping it alive by wrapping it in towel and overheating it till the solders melt and connection is made again (desi reflowing). Did it twice already, risk burning other components. Any help will be appreciated.

Also, it will be helpful if they deal in xbox 360 (falcon mobo) reballing as well, will fix my old rrod'd machine

Just swap the motherboard instead of the graphics card if it isn't discrete. Just like you said if the Laptop is indeed 5 years old. You'll be easily able to find a spare motherboard for cheap at-least in Karachi. Don't know about Lahore.

The motherboard repair should cost me around 15k, it is my last resort. if iam unable to find an economical reballing solution.

It's a 5 Year laptop brother. Motherboard would cost you alot less than 15K maybe like 5-8K atleast in Karachi and would be trouble free.

Have you search your local market for its mobo ?

Iam currently in canada, the price i quoted is from online sellers, selling refurbished boards. Ill be visiting lahore for a few months, thought id get my mobo replaced.

I just assumed that the repairmen in lahore would have to order the boards online themeselves, so thats how i came up with the estimated price for repair.

No they don't have to order these board online . These boards are pulled from scraped laptops mostly. Hence its very cheap to get it replaced locally. Get it replaced whenever you reach Lahore.
