Your new line has a better SNR (Signal to noise ratio) meaning that your connection will be more stable and can support higher speeds if you wish to upgrade in the future.
Line attenuation is a measure of how much the signal has deteriorated from the exchange to your house. Less than 20db attenuation is considered very good. And your downstream attenuation is just around 20db, which is quite good.
Yes, you had a higher downstream/upstream on your old line. It might have been due to a mixup while allotting you a port or something. They likely fixed that when upgrading you to an optic fiber connection.
Yeah due to that I was getting 250-260 KB/s on IDM and 1.96 - 2.0 Mb/s download on speedtests and 0.5 - 0.6 Mb/s upload, however now with Fiber I'm getting only 230-235 KB/s on IDM and 1.75 - 1.80 Mb/s download on speedtests and 0.35 - 0.40 Mb/s upload. My new line stats maybe better but due to this I'm feeling a little shitty
I got a call from the PTCL that they can upgrade me to 4 MB for the price of 2 MB till the end of April so I will be availing this offer and hopefully I can get good speeds on there as well

wow what a SNR margin you are getting
Simple Calculations
1 Mbps = 1024/8bits = 128 KB/s Downloading
2 Mbps = 2048/8bits = 256 KB/s Downloading
4 Mbps = 4096/8bits = 512 KB/s Downloading
@
PCftw is right that you are getting what you are paying for
Bro wahi to, pehlai I was getting 250-260 KB/s but on new fiber line even though it's much better I'm only getting 230-235 KB/s

Yaar the thing is I upgraded due to line issues right, wo to long run main hi pata challaiga k fiber sahi chaal rahi hai k nahi, however it pinches a bit that my download/upload speeds are reduced on this new line even though it's supposed to be superior to the copper line, baas yehi duukh hai thora saa
Yeah will upgrade to 4 MB and hoping the line will remain trouble free

O kaka, IDM sy download speed check kro, 220kb+-/sec a rhi ha, and connection randomly disconnect tu nhi ro rha? Agr nhi tu yehi faida ha optical fiber ka bs, copper p disconnections aty han more than 1mb p, however optical fiber is v stable
Been using 2 MB on copper for a while, and my line worked good most of the time but whenever there was a problem it's a Abuses will lead to ban. Hope this doesn't happen on the new fiber line otherwise this whole switch would be useless especially since my download speeds have been reduced by 10-20 KB/s

Your overall Line Parameters are Excellent. They almost exactly like mine. So relax man there is nothing to worry about.
Bro can you post your stats including speedtest.net result through PTCL server.
Also what speeds are you getting on your IDM???
