Great selection of components, especially the casing, it can fit into a media console as HTPC.

How much did the case cost you and please explain about the VAT refund, can we get it here?
Vat refund only works if you buy from there , fill form from the shopkeeper , all your profile and passport and get the money from airport

yeah got the VAT refund forms from Scan Computers along with the receipt. Hope it works out at the airport. I also bought 2 iphone 6 with 180gbp refund available but there was a gbp50 handling charge at PCWorld. Lol. so now i understand what imran8573 was saying. Hopefully the same is not the case with Scan Computers, lets see.

Well my system is now up and running, building in this small enclosure was very frustrating with having to remove parts again and again but all turned up great in the end.

Final Specs:

CPU: Intel Core i7 4790k 4.4GHz
Mobo: Asus Maximus VII Impact
GPU: Gigabyte Windforce GTX780
Ram: 8GB Corsair Vengeance 1866Mhz DDR3 (2x4gb)
SSD: 120GB Samsung 840 EVO (Boot Drive & 120GB Kingston V300 (Games SSD)
HDD: 1TB Seagate (thinking of buying a 3TB Drive)
Casing: Silverstone Milo ML07 ITX (with 3x superfine magnetic filters)
Case Fans: 2x Corsair SP120 Quiet Edition 120mm Fans
CPU Cooler: Noctua NH-L9i Low Profile Cooler for ITX Systems
Sound Card: Asus SupremeFX (Add-on card with Maximus VII Impact)
Controller: XBox One Controller for Windows

Really pleased with the build. Its about the same size as the Xbox One but quite alot more powerful and easily up gradable. Runs super cool and quiet.

So far performance is great. Windows 8.1 installed via usb in under 5 minutes flat and windows load in under 5 seconds (cold boot).
Upgrading from a core i7 2600k i am surprised by the increased performance. Worth the upgrade, definitely.

Havent gamed yet. Will update soon and also have to monitor temps. Cool and quiet on normal use thus far.

Bhai kya job karty hain app? Itny paisy kaha sy latey ho yar?
Brother i had some parts from my old rig, selling some old parts and bought some new. In all i would say this upgrade cost me about the same as the price of XBox One. But i am an accountant if you must know ;)

yeah i was in that dilemma myself for quite some time but then decided in favor of this board because of the unmatched sound card and the M.2 SSD support which i plan to get once decent options are available.

Great build u got there. i recently built an ITX rig myself. went with an MSI Z97I tho because i didnt really need all the features of the maximus.

Congratulations on the build. How are the temperatures on this under load. I'm planning an ITX build as well but I'm worried that Pakistani weather; summers mainly, won't be too kind on such a congested casing. I'm currently using a Corsair 300r and my case has remained cool without any air conditioning even.

So far so good. The CPU idles around 40-50C and max upto 75C under full load which is not great but fine i guess. Will have to wait for summers for proper testing. GPU on the other hand remains cool as ice in this build.

Congratulations.

I basically did the same thing back in March, although the casing I have is the RVZ01 (dimensions and internal design are the same as the ML07).

Magnetic screwdrivers make things a lot easier. The worst part for me was getting the psu inside its enclosure and hooking up the power cable that's routed along the sides.

The Xbox One is similar in width, but quite a bit smaller in terms of depth and height. Here's a picture I took for comparison's sake:

Why go with the Xbox One controller, though? As you're probably aware, it only works as a wired controller for now. I use the Dualshock4 controller instead, and pair it up wirelessly with the bluetooth module on the motherboard without any hassle.

Not sure about the thermal profile of the i7-4790K, but I did some pretty aggressive testing with the i7-4771 (same cpu cooler i.e. NH-L9i) in this case during the summer, and the highest temp I got was 68C. While gaming, it tends to linger in the higher 50s or lower 60s. Idle temps were around 34-36C.

Thanks Man, yeah saw your thread as well before i made my decision. RVZ01 is pretty cool but it looked a little too aggressive to me. Thankfully the ML07 was there which is pretty neat.

Definitely missed a magnetic screw driver, the PSU unit was a total pain, for some odd reason it just wouldnt fit back into its normal place. Fitting the PSU and routing the cables wasnt that troublesome for me but fitting the cage back into place was.

Yep. There is a size difference but still comparable but if you consider the raw horse power in our systems, put the XBone to shame. I actually was planning on buying a PS4 but decided in building a uber PC as I had a few parts already.

Yes sir I am well aware. Firstly i am more used to the Xbox Layout using the 360 controller for years, wire dont bother me much. Also there is another thing: Onscreen mapping in games. For example: In FarCry 4 i get proper XBOne buttons layout onscreen which is not possible with the PS4 controller. Not that big of an issue though i guess

Now this is the part which is troubling me. my system idles at around 40-50c even during power saving mode. I ran a full 8 step Torture Test of Prime95 and my CPU maxed to about 85C which is good i think. Not sure what to think. i know everyone idles at around 25-35. Even when i do normal stuff like copying files and watching a HD Movie the temps go upto 45-55 but apparently max stress test result is good. Maybe i have applied thermal paste a little too much. Dont know.

Ah right, that makes sense then. Plus, MS is also planning on producing a wireless dongle for the xbo controller some time in 2015.

Yup, the temps with Prime95 are pretty good. Did you get any 25mm case fans with the ML07? If not, you could try getting one to place at the panel vent that is above the cpu cooler. That might help with the idle temps. My casing came with two fans installed, so that probably helps build some static pressure.

To tackle that issue i got 2 corsair sp120 fans, one over the cpu and 1 on the GPU side. All 3 fans are super silent. I also reassembled my system yesterday with better wire routing and reseated the heatsink and reapplied the thermal paste following online guides. Didnt make that much of a difference.
i think the issue is the noctua cooler itself. While it is a great cooler itself ot is not suitable for processors of higher TDP than 65w i think.

Started Dead Island 2, and i find it pretty lame. The story is shit. The characters are either cringe or bland (all 6 of them), The gameplay isn't fun. Even the goddamn zombies don't behave like proper zombies. They're all fast & intelligent unlike how zombies are supposed to be like. Any fan of "zombie" genre cannot possibly like this shitfest of a game. Dying Light 2 was million times better than this shit.
